As the Corn Grows

Trailer - A mysterious Our Story announcer describes everything you need to know about the new Our Story soap opera, "As The Corn Grows," in this trailer for the show.  Learn about the cast of characters, the through-story of the show and where it can be viewed on TV and the Internet.  As the announcer says, "I don’t know what you’ll think about As The Corn Grows!"  What will you think, do you think?  Will you be watching every cliff-hanging episode during the coming year as it unfolds?

Episode 1 - The brand-new soap opera, "As The Corn Grows," premieres here and introduces us to the corny of cast of characters - Mrs. Swanson, Cousin John, Prairie Ann and Elmer Plow - while they discuss the looming fate of sickly Aunt Ella with her doctor. Get to know our soap's characters as they sit around Aunt Ella's farm house dining table and ponder who will inherit what when she dies.

Episode 2 - In this episode we're with dying Aunt Ella who has called Mrs. Swanson to her deathbed in order to say her last goodbyes.  Prairie Ann happens to drop by, and so do inimitable Elmer Plow and Cousin John.  Does Aunt Ella bite the dust?  Who will be inheriting the farm?   Hmmmmm... You'd better watch to find out!

Episode 3 - In this bleak 3rd episode, the entire community says a tearful (?) goodbye to Aunt Ella at her funeral services.  But really how sad were they?  This and more you’ll find out as we go inside the thoughts of each mourner while they squirm with supposed grief in their pews.  Listen to entertainer Lonesome Ron sing a tribute to Aunt Ella with her favorite song.  Can you guess what it is?  Will we ever find out who the "Woman In The Black Veil" is?  Tune in to the next exciting episode to find out!

Episode 4 - The legal drama of who gets what in Aunt Ella's last will and testament unfolds in Episode 4. Do Prairie Ann's dreams of her future receive help from Aunt Ella from the grave? Will Mrs. Swanson get the dietary recognition she craves? Has Elmer Plow's campaign for "Farm Safety" been vindicated by Aunt Ella? See conniving Cousin John's face turn and twist when he learns what Aunt Ella left him! And the plot really thickens when Urban Kati's name comes up in the will.

Episode 5 - In this episode, an angry Cousin John barges into quirky Lawyer Ed’s office and announces that he is going to contest Aunt Ella's will.  After telling Lawyer Ed which side his bread is buttered on, Cousin John slips into Edie's Café for some coffee, right after Urban Katie is seen leaving.  In fact, wherever Cousin John goes that day, he just misses seeing the elusive Urban Katie.  Will he ever finally meet her face-to-face - the cousin he has grown to hate with a passion because she got Aunt Ella's farm?

Episode 6 - Urban Katie has arrived and has taken up residence in the farmhouse she's inherited from Aunt Ella.  Lawyer Ed, the four-strands-of-hair-comb-over-king, intimates to Katie that she's going to need help in running the farm.  Enter Elmer Plow, our County Extension Agent savior-of-the-day - He can help Kati on the farm, and in the romance department, too - or so thinks Mrs. Swanson when she stops by to deliver a home-made pie!

Episode 7 - Urban Katie finds out that there will be little time for lollygagging around on the farm that she has recently inherited from her Aunt Ella. Mrs. Swanson - the hotdish queen—tells her that she'd better get right to work at managing the farm and hints that having a big strappin’ husband would certainly make her life easier! Elmer Plow just happens to overhear this conversation and secretly considers himself good, if not the best, husband material Katie could ever hope for!

Episode 8 - Prairie Ann sets up a secret meeting in town at Edie's Café (where most of the time there’s more gossiping than eating!) with Cousin John in order to plot out a way to send Urban Katie packing. Elmer Plow and his good old entertainer buddy, Warren Nelson - lead founder, artistic director, and resident writer/composer for Lake Superior Big Top Chautuaqua - are on the prowl for some crispy hash browns and briefly interrupt Prairie Ann’s meeting plans. Cousin John finally arrives, squeezes into Prairie Ann's booth and we watch the two formulate their dirty-dealin' partnership!

Episode 9 - Christmas spirit is in the air as we join the cast of As The Corn Grows in this all new episode.

Episode 10 - Christmas spirit is in the air as we join the cast of As The Corn Grows during their holiday celebrations.

Episode 11 - Ring in the new year with the cast of As The Corn Grows and an entirely new batch of problems for 2009.
